BlueFive Capital / Gulf Cobla

BlueFive Capital is a global investment platform headquartered in Abu Dhabi Global Market. Gulf Cobla, established in 1977, is a UAE dredging and land reclamation company working on marine infrastructure across the Middle East and South Asia, with project experience including Jebel Ali Port, Aqaba New Port and the airport at Malé. Advanced Dynamics Investments is an affiliate of Saudi Binladin Group. Dutco Group, whose origins are in 1947, holds interests in engineering and construction, dredging, hospitality, logistics and real estate.

BlueFive Capital announced on 2 July 2026 that it had agreed to acquire a 70% shareholding in Gulf Cobla LLC: the entire 49% held by Advanced Dynamics Investments, together with a further 21% from Dutco Group, which retains 30%.

NTT Data Group / Zero & One Holding

NTT DATA is a global business and technology services group, with capabilities across cloud, applications, data and AI. Zero & One is a Dubai cloud consultancy founded in 2017, specialising in cloud-native services, application modernisation and data analytics. The consultancy holds nine AWS competencies, including generative AI.

NTT Data Group acquired Zero & One Holding Limited, the holding company of the Zero & One group, announced on 10 February 2026. GLA & Company advised the majority of the sellers.

GFH Partners / Devmark Real Estate Brokers

Headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre, GFH Partners is the global real estate investment arm of GFH Financial Group. Devmark, founded in 2018, advises developers on project positioning, marketing and sales, and its founders continue to lead the business.

GFH Partners acquired a majority stake in Devmark Real Estate Brokers, announced on 25 November 2025. Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle advised GFH Partners.

Gradiant / Advanced Watertek

Gradiant grew from a business with its origins at MIT into an international provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions. Its technologies support water treatment and reuse in industries including semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and mining. Advanced Watertek, headquartered in Dubai, manufactures membrane-based water and wastewater treatment systems and has installations in more than 50 countries.

Gradiant acquired Advanced Watertek, announced on 8 February 2023. The acquisition was announced as extending Gradiant's manufacturing capability and its growth in the Middle East.

Marex Group plc / Aarna Capital

Marex Group plc (NASDAQ: MRX) is a diversified financial services business whose activities include clearing, agency execution, market making and hedging. Aarna Capital Limited is a multi-asset brokerage in Abu Dhabi Global Market, covering energy, metals and financial markets.

Marex completed the acquisition of Aarna Capital on 2 April 2025, extending its institutional clearing franchise into Abu Dhabi Global Market.

Egis Group / Omrania

Egis Group is an international architecture and engineering group, supporting transport, infrastructure and buildings from design through to operation. Omrania has more than five decades of architectural and engineering experience in Saudi Arabia, and its work includes the Kingdom Centre and the PIF Tower in Riyadh.

Egis Group completed the acquisition of Omrania in November 2023, bringing the Omrania practice into the group.

Lagardere Travel Retail, acquisition of HWH Hospitality, Dubai International Airport

Lagardere Travel Retail operates food and beverage concessions in airports. Creative Table Holdings Ltd, operating as HWH Hospitality Investments, had a portfolio of 13 restaurants at Dubai International Airport at the time of the 2022 announcement.

Lagardere Travel Retail agreed to acquire an 80% controlling interest in Creative Table Holdings Ltd, announced on 18 February 2022, and acquired the 80% interest in April 2022.

Brookfield Asset Management is an alternative investment manager. Oman Tower Company provides the tower infrastructure that supports telecommunications networks across Oman.

Gulf Islamic Investments, acquisition of Anglo-Gulf Trade Bank

Gulf Islamic Investments invests across private equity, real estate and venture capital. Anglo-Gulf Trade Bank was an ADGM Category 1 digital bank established by Mubadala Investment Company, the sovereign investor whose shareholder is the Government of Abu Dhabi and which holds a diverse portfolio in the UAE and internationally.

Gulf Islamic Investments acquired 100% of Anglo-Gulf Trade Bank, announced in June 2022. No consideration was published.

UEM Edgenta / Kaizen Group

UEM Edgenta Berhad (Bursa Malaysia: EDGENTA) provides asset management and infrastructure solutions. The two Kaizen businesses provide property management in the UAE.

Edgenta International Investments, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of UEM Edgenta Berhad, acquired 60% of the two businesses for AED 43.2 million. The filing was reported on 4 December 2023 and completion followed in February 2024, as recorded on page 26 of UEM Edgenta's 2024 integrated annual report.

Arzan Investment Management / Fairmont The Palm

Arzan Investment Management is an alternative investment manager, investing in, developing and managing real estate and providing capital solutions for real estate and credit. It runs institutional real estate platforms in the GCC under a broader mandate across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States, and is part of Arzan Financial Group (Boursa Kuwait: ARZAN) through Arzan Capital, a DIFC holding company. IFA Hotels & Resorts develops mixed-use hotel and residential resort projects and provides luxury leisure services. Fairmont The Palm is a five-star hotel on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah.

An Arzan Investment Management investment vehicle agreed to acquire the owner of Fairmont The Palm from IFA Hotels & Resorts, with an announced value of USD 325 million in January 2025. International Financial Advisors Holding reported completion to the Dubai Financial Market on 2 April 2025, noting that share-transfer formalities would follow.

SEDCO Capital REIT Fund / Dubai school complex

SEDCO Capital REIT Fund is a Shariah-compliant real estate investment trust listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), investing in income-generating property and managed by the Saudi Economic and Development Securities Company (SEDCO Capital). The asset is a purpose-built educational complex in Dubai, let to a single education operator under a 21-year lease.

The fund acquired the complex in May 2025 for AED 158 million before acquisition-related fees.

e& enterprise, acquisition of Beehive

e& enterprise is the digital transformation subsidiary of Emirates Telecommunications Group (ADX: EAND). Beehive is a regulated peer-to-peer finance platform that connects small and medium enterprises with funding.

e& enterprise acquired a 63.3% majority stake in Beehive for USD 23.6 million. The stake and the consideration were disclosed in a mandatory filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and completion was announced on 1 August 2023.

Tamer Group is a family-run healthcare and wellness group founded in 1922, serving Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East and North Africa through the distribution and manufacture of medical, pharmaceutical and nutrition products and services. Mumzworld is a mother, baby and child e-commerce platform.

Tamer Group acquired a majority stake in Mumzworld, announced in 2021. No consideration was published.

Zension Technologies provides device protection, extended warranty, subscription and buy-back services for consumer electronics in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which extend the period a device stays in use. Wa'ed Ventures is an Aramco-backed venture capital company established in 2013, investing in technology companies with a focus on the Kingdom. Sumitomo Corporation is an integrated trading and business investment company. Global Ventures is a UAE-based venture capital firm investing in growth-stage technology companies across the Middle East, Africa and beyond.

Zension raised a USD 30 million Series A announced in January 2025, led by Wa'ed Ventures with Sumitomo Corporation and Global Ventures participating.
